Why Go to Church?

TEXT: Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Not forsaking….. Implies such a desertion, leaves others destitute in deep trouble or distress, when they are needing help.

Earnestly Contend for the Faith

TEXT: Jude 1:1-3
INTRODUCTION: May I suggest that the words “earnestly” and “contend” were given in our Text to show us that a strong effort is required to continue in the faith.
• We all must exercise discipline as disciples.
• We must acknowledge that there are numerous enemies to our faith. They may be categorized as
• (1) the world, (2) the flesh, and (3) the devil.

ARE YOU WORKING IN THE FIELD
TEXT: 1 COR. 3:5-7
Warren Wiersbe writes, “Paul was fond of agricultural images and often used them in his letters. “Ye are God’s husbandry” simply means, “You are God’s cultivated field, God’s garden.” In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus compared the human heart to soil and the Word of God to seed (Matt. 13:1-9, 18-23).
